At last! A proven blueprint to get your kids working together

Join 1,000’s of families who have already experienced the benefits of holding family roundtables.

Families are busy these days.

They can be so busy that parents and kids never sit down to talk about what’s important.

So busy that disputes are never really sorted out……...they just fester and go on and on and on.

So busy that parents miss making the most of children’s opportunity years (the ages from  4- 8 years) when kids are most open to their influence.

BUT effective parents don’t let busyness get in the way of doing what is best for their kids.

They put processes in places to ensure that the important stuff happens.

There is no more important stuff than sitting down with your kids on a regular basis to talk about ………..what’s important!

Family Roundtables help you focus on what’s important

A family roundtable is a proven process for busy parents who want to do the important things such as:
  • Develop a strong sense of togetherness
  • Teach lifeskills such as encouragement, goal-setting and giving complements
  • Catch up, celebrate successes and talk about good stuff
  • Involve kids in family decision-making
  • Allocate chores fairly and consistently
  • Resolve conflicts between siblings
  • Get the whole family to help out kids who are struggling or having learning difficulties

And the best thing is that family roundtables only take 17 minutes to complete so you can easily fit them into busy schedules

That’s right. 17 minutes each week is all it takes to get your family working from the same songsheet.

But like all new skills putting Family Roundtables into place and making them a regular part of your family-life takes a little effort.

Want to know what makes an effective family roundtables?

  1. They need to be regular – once a week.
  2. Start when the eldest is five.
  3. They follow a balanced agenda.
  4. They need a chairperson. This should be a parent initially but it can be shared around as kids get more competent.
  5. They need some simple rules.
  6. Parents must take them seriously.
  7. Start with a ‘go around activity’.
  8. Finish with a fun activity. The start and finish are critical to the overall success of the roundtable process.
  9. They need to be in a comfortable dedicated space.
  10. You must stick to decisions made during the week.
