Michael Grose
Parenting and Family-School Engagement

Michael is a best selling author of 10 books and award-winning speaker. As a conference speaker, parenting presenter and workshop leader Michael has been entertaining, informing and inspiring audiences around Australia, and internationally for more than 20 years. Michael’s passion for teaching, his understanding of the educational and parenting landscapes as well as his engaging communication style means has held a respected profile in the media spanning many years. He’s had parenting segments on The Project, The Today Show, Weekend Sunrise, 3AW, ABC radio and more. He has contributed to Huff Post, Kidspot and Mamma Mia, and is a former columnist with News Ltd and Fairfax newspapers.

Dr Jodi Richardson
Wellbeing and Mental Health

Dr. Jodi Richardson is a mental health expert who is changing the way parents, teachers and schools think about and cultivate children’s mental health and wellbeing. She’s known for her authentic, warm and practical style and her ability to enlighten and inspire audiences to take meaningful action. Jodi combines leading-edge science, powerful stories of real people and an often entertaining and highly relatable perspective on the human condition; knowing that the better we understand ourselves, the more we can help young people in our care.

Sharon Witt
Resilience and parenting adolescents

Sharon Witt is an author, teacher and presenter who’s been immersed in the teen world for over two decades. She also runs regular workshops within schools and youth events around Australia. She is a regular media commentator on issues impacting young people, parenting and educational issues. Sharon often appears on Channel 7’s The Morning Show and The Daily Edition, as well as having weekly parenting segments on radio in Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Sharon writes for many publications including Mici, Gigi and Bella-Rae magazines for adolescent girls. Sharon is the author of 12 books written for young people to help guide them through many of the issues they face in early years, including the bestselling Teen Talk and the Girlwise and Wiseguys series.

Kate Johnson
Parenting and teaching children on the autism spectrum

Kate is the Founder and Director of Spectrum Journeys Inc, a not for profit autism service that equips and empowers education staff, support workers and families as they support children on the autism spectrum to flourish. Established for 5 years, Spectrum Journeys provides practical and accessible education to educators, as well as carer support programs for families. Kate has been working in the Community Sector in Community Development and Advocacy for over 14 years and also equips adult learners in the classroom.

Martine Oglethorpe
Technology, education and parenting

Martine is a mother to 5 boys with a background in secondary education and a Masters in Counselling. Through her personal and professional work with families raising children today, she recognises the important role technology plays in the social and emotional wellbeing of young people. Martine has a passionate interest in helping families to safely navigate the modern world of parenting in a way that offers understanding as well as practical and realistic strategies. Martine is an accredited speaker with the Office of the eSafety Commissioner and has presented to numerous parent groups, schools and teachers. Regular workshops with young people also ensures Martine has the most relevant perspective and up to date information on what it means to be a child growing up today.
