Teleseminar PD

How to develop leadership through expedition

with Yvonne Claypole
(Antartic expedition leader and primary teacher Yvonne Claypole)

Antarctic expedition leader and primary teacher Yvonne Claypole will show you to plan a stimulating expedition program for your whole class or team.

Yvonne conducted a super-successful expedition with Year 6 students where they rode bikes from the Mighty Murray to the Mountains, a distance of nearly 100 kilometres. The program took 30 weeks of planning and preparation but the results were as spectacular as the mountains they rode towards.

We have limited numbers for our telephone seminars so book now for an absolute educational experience you won’t forget. This will sell out fast.

What is a teleseminar? A teleseminar is a seminar that is conducted over the telephone line, which means you can participate in the comfort of your school or your own home. At the appropriate time you merely dial the local call number, enter your pin number and you’re tuned into one of Michael’s 60 minute seminars on a subject that you will give you huge value. You don’t have to dress up, drive anywhere, struggle to find a parking spot or worry about being late! You will have to supply your own refreshments!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a teleseminar?

Well, it’s a seminar that is conducted over the phone line which means that you (and your teaching colleagues) can participate in the comfort of your school or even your own home.

How do I register?

You can register online or by phone or fax. When you register you will receive all the information you need – phone number, PIN number to gain access to the seminar as well as manual and slides.

What materials do I receive?

When you register you will receive a manual plus a PDF of Powerpoint slides to help you follow. You can also retrieve the PowerPoint presentation online. But don’t worry if you have difficulty going online – you will have copies of the slides with you anyway.

What if I can’t make it at that time or I miss it for some reason?

If you can’t make it at that time then you can catch it later. We will give you another number to ring and you have two weeks to listen in to the seminar.

Can more than one person listen to a teleseminar?

Yes, your whole school can listen to the same teleseminar for the price of one as long as you only make one call. If you have speakerphone or have a phone system that allows more than one person to listen in then you can have as many people as you like attend the one call. If you make more than one call then you must pay for each call.
